The International Art Colony offers residing visual artists free yoga lessons in nature, with the help of our Danish yoga instructor Ene.

There will be a morning class every morning before breakfast. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced yoga practitioner, you will get the opportunity to deepen your attention and to open and calm the body and mind before the day begins.

In the evenings, before dinner, we will have a short yoga practice to settle the attention in the body, followed by a simple, guided meditation.

 

Ene has been teaching yoga and meditation for nearly ten years. She teaches a gentle, mindful yoga with a focus on the breath through the whole session.

 

The point of this yoga is not to achieve any spectacular postures, but to soften and open the body and mind through gentle movements and by a sustained attention on breath, body sensations and mind.
