Ahmad Zoabi is a Haifa based calligrapher. He was born and raised in Sulam; in the outskirts of Nazerath.

In 1990 Zoabi moved to Haifa in pursue of a degree in philosophy and art history. Zoabi’s interest in Arabic calligraphy has started in middle school, and has since taught himself classic calligraphy, and developed his unique modern style.

In addition to his public art, Zoabi enjoys creating personalized designs and murals. When he is not designing he teaches a series of calligraphy workshops.

Zoabi’s art pieces has participated in a number of local arts-and-crafts festivals, and are constantly displayed at galleries in Haifa, Nazareth, Ramallah and Jerusalem.
