Hani-Hans Mograby is a Palestinian-German photographer based in Berlin, Germany.
On the occasion of his photographic exhibition on the International Art Colony site, Hani-Hans Mograby had the following remarks:
“I was born on 11 March 1971 in Kofer Yasif, a small village in Western Galilee, where I spent many hours in nature as a child. Growing up in the village , there were few other alternatives . Since that time I have gone off exploring the Wildlife, especially birds and the surrounding environment. Until now I belong out in the open air. Watching birds nowadays is one of the main Hobbies . But also I was always drawn to photography, but I didn’t get my first camera until the age of 41.
In 2012 I bought my first Digital Camera from Nikon d3000 ( Nikon d7200 and d7500 later )started clicking .. and taking pictures of my Family during the vacations, until I developed my interests in nature photography in 2017, specially bird photography after trying different kinds of photography – starting from landscape, architecture, portraits and nature photography.
My desire is to bring people closer to nature. I want to arouse interest in nature, especially among children and young people. Because if you are interested in something and learn to love it, you will also protect it later.
I have no formal training in photography, so I am a self-learner hobby photographer. I am very committed to authentic nature photography. In my opinion, digital image processing should only be used as a minimum in nature photography.
My equipment is a Nikon d500 Nikkor 200-500mm lens and tripod Rollei c5i.”
